Sambal the Red Typewriter has been with me for almost two weeks now.

10 days to be exact. I started a series of Quotes I’m Pondering working very closely with Sambal.

It looks like the coronavirus is not going anywhere anytime soon, so I've braced myself for impact and for more self-love. In addition to the personal mini library I've built in Singapore (yay, books!), I also thought of other ways to amuse myself.

I'm deeply grateful to the delivery man for delivering my Special Edition Harry Potter Paperback Box Set. I bought this beautifully designed box set with artwork by Kazu Kibuishi as a special treat for my annual HP reread fest. I normally reread the e-books but this time I want to indulge myself.

TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS is unputdownable. It brought me to tears AND made me laugh out loud. It’s a book that I can’t stop reading.

I started reading The Song of Achilles about two days ago.

I'm now at 63% and loving it. The relationship between Achilles and Patroclus is special and sexy.

I finished The Witcher Saga today!

It was an exhilarating journey for all the six books in the series. I spent pretty much the whole of February reading the first five including binge-watching The Witcher on Netflix.

I wondered about the story of this bird that we saw at a halal café called I am..., which is located at Haji Lane. Mr Bear and I were having breakfast at the café before we went about our morning errands. The bird’s right claw was missing three front toes. Was it born this way? Or, was he involved in some accident?

I asked Mr. Bear what to draw this evening and he replied, “Mini Bear!”
