Imperfect But Still Beautiful

I wondered about the story of this bird that we saw at a halal café called I am..., which is located at Haji Lane. Mr Bear and I were having breakfast at the café before we went about our morning errands. The bird’s right claw was missing three front toes. Was it born this way? Or, was it involved in some accident?

It was Mr Bear who spotted this little guy with missing front toes and pointed it out to me. I quickly took a snapshot with my phone.

It chirped its little birdsong before taking off. Fly away little guy!
