If you could spend 30 minutes today creating whatever you want, what would you create?

Today I caught up with James Clear’s 3-2-1 weekly newsletters. I always do my best to answer the thought-provoking questions he posts at the end of his newletters. This time, I particularly enjoyed the 9 February 2023 edition:

If you could spend 30 minutes today creating whatever you want, what would you create?

If I could spend 30 minutes today creating anything I want, I would:
Start a new blog post on a topic I’m passionate about (EN/SE).

I have several activities that I do regularly so this is an easy question to tackle (see the Top 15). Some are still just ideas of what I’d like to create. Below is the list of stuff I would create given the 30 minutes (one of them is already the answer to the above question):

  • Create a vision board or inspiration board for a future project

  • Create a mood board for a future project or event

  • Write a short story or poem

  • Create a new playlist of favorite songs or discover new music

  • Make a list of goals or intentions for the upcoming week, month, or year

  • Experiment with a new photography technique or style

  • Practice a new musical instrument or learn a new song

  • Do a quick sketch or painting of a favorite landscape or object

  • Start a new blog post on a topic I’m passionate about (EN/SE)

  • Create a PowerPoint presentation summarizing key learnings from a book I read

  • Write a Swedish essay (e.g., referat)

  • Create a personal library catalog

  • Create a gratitude journal entry

  • Practice mindfulness or meditation

  • Write a personal reflection journal entry

  • Create a series of photo galleries on my blog

  • Design a new website layout for my blog or online shop

  • Create a digital illustration or drawing

  • Start a new cross-stitch, knitting, or crochet project

  • Make a handmade card or gift for a friend or family member

  • Record a short podcast episode on a topic of interest

  • Create a new workout routine or yoga flow

  • Write a letter to a loved one or friend

  • Start a DIY project for the home or garden

  • Create a short video or animation

  • Practice calligraphy or hand lettering

  • Create a custom phone wallpaper or computer background

  • Write a script or outline for a future project or video

This list will continue to grow…

There you have it. I just spent 30 minutes creating this post!
