The Best in the World
To be the best in the world means that someone with options and information will choose you. Because your version of “best” matches what they seek, and because you’re in their consideration set (their world). —Seth Godin
So, what this means is that it does NOT mean I’m the best by every measure. It also does not mean that the world means the Earth.
I prep for the best work (by reading for domain knowledge, by earning a skill). I commit to doing the work (by showing up daily). I complete the job and leave the place—hopefully—a little better than I found it.
I show up with my tools, ready to work with the constraints, and trust my process.
