Swedex Exam

Sometime in August this year, I mentioned my plan to sit for the A2 certification by Swedex a year from now (in 2018). Well, there's been a slight change of plan—I'll be sitting for it in a few days’ time on 19 December!

My rather last minute exam application to the Folkuniversitetet in Jönköping, Sweden was successful (didn’t expect that to happen!) and I paid the exam fee yesterday.

What happened? I decided to be brave and dive right in by moving the timeline 9 months ahead of schedule. Yes, I’m performing a linguistic stunt. I'm frantically patching up my fluency now. Four days to my pass eller (or) fail fate!

Some weeks back I'd taken a look at the modelltest för nivå A2 (mock exam for level A2) but only really attempted it four days ago while waiting for the acceptance of my exam application. I hope I'll pass; my only worry, frankly, is the oral test.

If you're curious about Swedex, check this out. If you've taken the Swedex—whichever level you're at—I'd love to hear about your experience!
