Adventures of the Little Tiger and His Friends

Adventures of the Little Tiger and His Friends: Too Little, Too Much And Just Right, by Latvian author Renate Logina, is a heartwarming story with gorgeous illustrations. The 17-page book is great for a read-along (or read-aloud) with the little ones under your care.

I’ve enjoyed reading this cute little book about a little tiger who realizes one day he wants to make friends after playing alone all the time. Although he enjoys being a lone ranger from the time he’s very young, he now ventures out to seek other playmates in the jungle. He goes about it in some interesting ways but without much success. One day, he helps a trapped anteater and things start to change.

There’s one minor typo (see picture below: “Alone all over againt.”), but it’s not a deal breaker for me. I have contacted the author to let her know, so I hope the book gets updated. Here’s to friendship!
