My AI-generated Cats

Happy Caturday! Last weekend I played with Midjourney Discord. Below are my results as a Midjourney virgin from the few experiments conducted.

The prompt I ‘conjured’ up: /imagine a white tabby cat reading a book and drinking coffee in the garden under an apple tree.

The prompt I ‘conjured’ up: /imagine two cats reading books in a cozy library at home and drinking beer while listening to vinyl on a turntable.

I don’t think Midjourney and I will be best friends, but if I do get curious again about how my cats will look when they do stuff I wish they can do, I may rekindle my relationship with it. For now, I’ll let it fade in Discord…

Just in case you’re wondering what the heck Midjourney is, it’s text-to-image AI where —I’m quoting them here—"your imagination is the only limit." As of today, it has over 15.3 million members, and almost 1 million are online at any point in time. Watching these people punch in their prompts is quite educating and entertaining (and disturbing, at times).
