The apple tree in our garden

The apple trees in our garden have started returning to life. This is the second spring season I’m experiencing after moving to Sweden in 2021. Three months from now—in August—it will two years.

During this past 1 year and 9 months, I have been sitting for test after test in an effort to get myself set up in the best possible way, mostly for the Swedish language. I even got myself a job.

I have decided to take a break from tests. It is now spring, and summer is just around the corner. Instead of carrying the burden of another year of tests and assignments for the svenska som andraspråk 1, 2, and 3, I am taking a break to enjoy the season instead. Work is also getting hectic, and I must focus on that too.

When the fundamentals have been achieved, the optional, extras, or nice-to-haves can wait.
