Sketches of Jätten Vist

Last week I started a sketchbook mini-project dedicated to the wonderful town of Huskvarna in Sweden. It will feature places I went for walks with Mr. Bear and other musings. So far I’ve done a few sketches and many more will come.

The latest sketch is on 1 September. Here’s the wonderful Jätten Vist (English: Vist the Giant) and this is his story.

Here is another view of Jätten Vist from the back. Mr. Bear and I frequently take walks here and it’s always lovely to bump into this big guy.

I use the Moleskine Pocket Watercolour Notebook (3.5"x5.5"). It’s really nice! The paper quality is great and it handles watercolor well. I used both sides of the paper and it still holds up nice and strong.
