Dear Duolingo,

You have gotten a little too fancy. Too complicated.

When you came up with that silly, super annoying Match Madness thingy, I was so p*ssed I decided there and then that I will not renew my premium subscription.

I really didn’t want our relationship to end. You and I started our journey together in January 2014. That’s more than 8 years ago! But you had to go and get all fancy and complicated on me, and I truly dislike your new look. I wished you had known where and when to stop—enhancements are good until they’re not.
