Sketch: Back of Bookshelves

I was rearranging my art supplies this weekend and as I flipped through my sketchbook, I found an impromptu, quick sketch I did when I was living in Singapore.

Back there in my old apartment, I used the back of my DIY bookshelves as a divider between the living room and dining area.

I loved how Fabler Björn is sitting at the top beside the classic alarm clock. I had given away the clock to my part-time domestic helper in Singapore when I moved, but Fabler Björn followed me to Sweden.

I used the Arteza 200 Pages Drawing Book Premium (8.5"x 11", 130 gsm). The paper quality is good and it handles not-too-wet watercolor well enough. There’s a slight warping but I can live with that.
