How to Speak Any Language Fluently
HOW TO SPEAK ANY LANGUAGE FLUENTLY by Alex Rawlings arrived in the mail today. I’m super excited and I'm placing this bright yellow book alongside my other language books.
I first found out about Alex from Olly Richards' podcast series, I Will Teach You A Language.
New Notebooks
I have been using the Five Star spiral notebooks (sheet size: 8-1/2" x 11") for over a week now and I'm loving it. The paper is lightweight but the quality is good. Ink doesn’t bleed through the paper even when I use my Tombow brush pens and Pilot drawing pens.
Which to Choose?
When I saw this post by Itchy Feet on Twitter, I was like, oh gosh, that is so what I'm getting when I tell people I'm learning Swedish.
Mapping Experiences
As a program manager, I'm obsessed with two things: thinking and processes. And then I found this book, MAPPING EXPERIENCES, by Jim Kalbach. This book is about possibilities and I'm super excited how it'll help me expand my thinking.
Spring fort, Pytte!
Today I finished reading SPRING FORT, PYTTE! by Ingrid Flygare. Three days ago, I was reading DU ÄR BÄST, PYTTE! also by the same author. Both books were borrowed from the Huskvarna bibliotek.
SPRING FORT, PYTTE! (Run fast, Pytte!) is a story about being the smallest of the lot and overcoming fear. Pytte is a 4-year-old Shetland pony. He lives at the Granbacken stable with three other horses named Sonja, Jumper, and Attila. Together, they have so much fun and are very supportive of one other.
Du är bäst, Pytte!
I've just finished reading DU ÄR BÄST, PYTTE! by Ingrid Flygare. It's a fun children's book I borrowed from the Huskvarna bibliotek. I read it twice.
DU ÄR BÄST, PYTTE! (You're the best, Pytte!) is a story about not losing courage even if you do not succeed in the beginning. Everybody is talented in their own ways and Pytte soon finds this out for himself!
