Duck Couples

I live close to the lake. Two bodies of water, actually: the Huskvarna River (Huskvarnaån) and the Lake Vättern. Some evenings, when I stroll in the neighbourhood, I pass by this area (Huskvarnaån), where ducks are always swimming and resting. Now that it’s spring, I see duck couples everywhere. Here are three sets of duck couples:

10 April: This pair was resting by the lake.
10 April: This pair was swimming in the lake.
29 April: This pair was roaming
(on the neighbour’s side of the fence)
The same pair waddling towards the building…
Resting just before the automower came, chasing them away (just seconds before the automower, a hare was zooming past them, too)
