This is a 100-word book review.
Dead Men’s Dust, Joe Hunter’s first thriller, is a solid read. Joe is a former Special Forces soldier who has worked for 14 years as a counter-terrorism agent. The book has the ingredients of a good thriller, but it didn’t excite me as much as Lee Child’s Jack Reacher. The plot is fast-moving. Joe looks for his missing brother to help his sister-in-law. In the process, he goes up against “The Harvestman,” a crazy serial killer. I like Joe’s character and decided to read the second book, Judgment and Wrath, to see how the character will develop.
