A global conference organiser contacted me today and invited me to speak at their upcoming Executive PA Conference in March 2009. What an honour! And a pleasant surprise. Because they approached me personally, I’ve also cleared this with my boss and HR, so I’m good to go!
I’m excited and anxious at the same time. This will be my first time speaking in front of a large audience for a full presentation. It’s time to put on my thinking hat, for there will be presentation materials to prepare; lots of thinking to do.
The organiser and I have completed the preliminary arrangements. I’ve also selected the topic I’ll be speaking on. More about this in due time.
