What’s Next (Part 2)

More than a week ago I shared about my two immediate, short-term personal projects: #1 svenska som andraspråk (SVA) and #2 Agile Hybrid Project Pro™. The latter is related to my existing Project Management Professional® (PMP®) certification; a micro-credential by PMI aligned to the new PMP standards, which include Agile and Hybrid approaches.

In that post I also mentioned I was pondering to obtain another PMI certification, the PMI-PBA. Shortly after that, I submitted my application, and off I went to Germany to visit my sister—my mom who lives in Malaysia and brother who lives in Singapore are also there—so it’s a mini reunion after aeons of not seeing one another during the pandemic.

Project #3 PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)® MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! (Dec 2022)

I’m very pleased to say PMI has accepted my application to sit for the PMI-PBA® examination! In my previous work-life (before early retirement), I was a project/program manager and I also performed business analysis in my role, so the PMI-PBA® certification is just right for me. For this, I have until April next year to take the exam.

So there it is. My three short-term or one-year personal projects planned out for the year.
