Happy Ever After (Book Four in the Bride Quartet)
HAPPY EVER AFTER by Nora Roberts is the fourth book in the Bride Quartet. Once again, we meet with childhood friends Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac, but this time it’s a wrap! Here’s a quick recap: […] In Book 4, we get a taste of Parker Brown (Del’s sister and the brains behind Vows) and Malcolm “Mal” Kavanaugh (the gorgeous Harley bike hunk of a mechanic).
Savor the Moment (Book Three in the Bride Quartet)
SAVOR THE MOMENT by Nora Roberts is the third book in the Bride Quartet. In the Bride Quartet, we meet childhood friends Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac, and their love stories. Together, they are the co-owners of Vows, a wedding planning company.
In Book 3, we savor the love and tension between wedding baker Laurel McBane and Ivy League lawyer Delaney "Del" Brown who also happens to be Parker’s older brother. Parker’s story will be the last one in the quartet, Happy Ever After.
Laurel has had a mega crush on Parker’s older brother Del for the longest time from childhood.
Bed of Roses (Book Two in the Bride Quartet)
BED OF ROSES by Nora Roberts is the second book in the Bride Quartet. In the Bride Quartet, we meet childhood friends Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac, and their love stories. Together, they are the co-owners of Vows, a wedding planning company.
In Book 2, we are taken into the world of Emmaline “Emma” Grant who is a florist and Jack Cooke who is an architect. Jack is also a long-time family friend.
Emma is a firm believer in romance and her own love life is great. Although so, she still hasn’t found her Mr. Right […]
Black Hills
BLACK HILLS by Nora Roberts is a joint-reading with Julia. As always, it’s been great fun doing it with her who is also a big fan of NR. For this review, we both have decided to do a Q&A format by answering both sets of questions. Let’s begin! […]
Vision in White (Book One in the Bride Quartet)
VISION IN WHITE by Nora Roberts is the first book in the Bride Quartet. Here we meet childhood friends Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac, and their love stories. Together, they are the co-owners of Vows, one of Connecticut’s well known wedding planning companies.
Book 1 begins with the story of Mackensie “Mac” Elliot, the lady behind the camera. Her character resonates with me because I’m familiar with the exhilarating feeling of getting behind the camera shooting. [...]
Mac does not believe in happily-ever-afters because she sees the truth in her own family—until Carter Maguire shows up in her life, that is.
The Pagan Stone (Book 3)
THE PAGAN STONE by Nora Roberts (NR) is the third book of the Sign of Seven Trilogy.
This one—the third book—is my favorite. It is Gage Turner and Cybil Kinski’s story. Both are able to ‘see’ and both saw a lot of visions—frightening ones. I really enjoyed the signature NR dialogues in this book and I like seeing these two kick each others’ backside for the fun of it. Things are getting intense just as evil gets stronger.
The Hollow (Book 2)
THE HOLLOW by Nora Roberts (NR) is the second book of the Sign of Seven Trilogy.
In the first book, the story romantically links Caleb and Quinn together and in this one, we see Fox and Layla together. Book 2 builds on the suspense from book 1 and the nightmare is about to begin.
Fox O’Dell practices small-town law with an ability to read minds. Coincidentally, Layla shares the same ability.
Blood Brothers (Book 1)
BLOOD BROTHERS by Nora Roberts is the first book of the Sign of Seven Trilogy. I’ve been looking forward to her latest work and this is my wish come true. Being able to finally read her again is satisfying. I’ve read four of her trilogies with short intervals in between, I have to say this is not her best work but then it’s too early to tell. Blood Brothers is still a good read but I’m not breaking out in songs over this one.
Usually, each book in the NR trilogies is filled with romance that makes you beam and radiate happiness. This one, though, has less of that. Instead, it focuses more on the background of evil that has befallen Hawkins Hollow […]
