U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels and his partner, Chuck Aule, are shipped off to Shutter Island to investigate the disappearance of a criminally insane patient, Rachel Solando. There is no way of escaping the tightly guarded facility but the multiple murderess did it. However, the case is not what it appears to be. Teddy faces huge challenges in his investigation. Watch out for the plot twist at the end—it shocked me. It is unputdownable; a page-turner. It offers never-ending surprises and I want to read it the second time to look at the clues all over again.
