After carefully curating and donating hundreds of my books to the National Library in Singapore, I was left with 18 boxes that eventually left on a cargo ship to sail across the ocean to Rotterdam, the Netherlands. In those 18 boxes were almost 1,000 books and magazines, including stationery and art supplies.

From Rotterdam, they made their way to Huskvarna, Sweden, and arrived safely on 16 September on a drizzling Thursday night, exactly one month after departing from Singapore. It was 20:12 when I received the text message from Stefan from Drent informing they’re here.

Now that I’m reunited with my treasures, I’m ready to closeout this personal project.
