Author Event/Lecture with Lars Wilderäng

Författarföreläsning med Lars Wilderäng i Habo (21 november 2024)

This event was a collaboration between the Habo Library and Habo Folkbildningsråd.

Lars Wilderäng is a Swedish author and blogger. He is well known for his thrilling stories about war, survival, and societal collapse, especially in Midvintermörker and the Stjärnklart trilogy. (Check out his books here.) His writing blends action-packed narratives with emotional depth, drawing readers into vivid and thought-provoking worlds. His wife, Lena, is an adventurer passionate about exploration. She brings a unique perspective to his creative process, offering insights and support that help shape his work. She’s also the cover model for the -HJÄRTA novel series. Together, they form an inspiring duo, captivating readers and sparking reflections on resilience and the future. It was nice to see his wife at the event, too!

I wrote this Haiku(-clue) for the event (on a cold, wintery evening…):

Books, our silent swords,
Wilderäng’s words march through us,
Habo’s frost listens.

P/S: It was Mister Bear’s idea to attend, so it was a delightful surprise that he initiated participation in such a bookish event. He is a regular reader and follower of Lars Wilderäng’s blog at cornucopia.se. I happily tagged along.
