The Incredible Painting of Felix Clousseau
This is how the story begins…
Competition is really fierce for the paintings on show are of really grand scale. Clousseau’s art though… his simple piece showcasing just a duck is treated with scorn.
The Incredible Painting of Felix Clousseau is one of Jon Agee’s most beloved titles. The artworks in this book (by the author himself) are well-defined and his bold style is applied in dark and rich colors. The story gets really exciting as Clousseau’s subsequent painted objects ALSO come to life and chaos ensues. There is, however, a happy ending with an unexpected twist. The book is only slightly over 30 pages but it’s certainly entertaining!
This title is another one that I have stumbled upon accidentally while browsing on the National Library Board (NLB) (link to borrow e-book here).
