(Weird) Weekend with Doctor Strange

My original plan was to study for the scheduled PMI-PBA examination, but Doctor Strange has whispered some strange things to me, so I decided to indulge in the way of the weird and meet the rest of the colourful and chaotic gang of magic.

I borrowed the four available Doctor Strange (2016) collection from National Library Board (NLB) Singapore. Clicking on the pictures will take you to their individual link on the NLB Overdrive just in case you’re a member of the library and would like to borrow them too.

Two G&Ts later, I have finished all of them AND am so glad to have Doctor Strange protecting us in the magical realm. There are still so much to read in the series but NLB has only four available. I have a Strange feeling that I would subscribe to Marvel to stay on the journey with my favorite Sorcerer Supreme.

BUT, who is Doctor Strange (some of you may ask)?

I borrowed the above from Doctor Strange’s profile on Marvel.

Also, the video below from Marvel makes me happy as we go Behind the Scenes: The MANY Doctor Strange Looks in Multiverse of Madness! to watch Ian Joyner, Visual Development Supervisor for Marvel Studios talks about creating the look of 4 of the main Doctor Stranges in the film.

P.S.: My fascination with Doctor Strange began because of Benedict Cumberbatch when he played him in 2016 (now you know!). My other favorite guy—Mads Mikkelsen—played Kaecilius, so there is REALLY so much to love about the first Doctor Strange movie.

P.P.S.: Speaking of love, my love for Benedict began when he’s (the high-functioning sociopath) Sherlock Holmes many moons ago. I’m already a fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock but Benedict Cumberbatch has made the consulting detective so… so much more delectable. And let’s not forget he’s the badass dragon Smaug too. Ahhh (yummy) Benedict…
