Choose Brief

Thank you, James Clear, for the wise words today.

Quote by James Clear recreated here by me.

Indeed, everyone gets distracted. James Clear also says that the real divide is between those who get back on track quickly and those who let interruptions expand into longer periods of inactivity. What sets top performers apart is their ability to get back on track faster than most.

I have always allowed myself to be ‘distracted’ because of my exploratory nature, but I intend to keep those periods brief. I won’t have it any other way because it helps me spot opportunities.

Should someone tries to sidetrack me (intentionally or not), I can—of course—choose to keep it brief (and get back on track pronto!).
