Ancient Egypt Series

I started Wilbur Smith’s Ancient Egypt Series in 2015 beginning with River God and loved it to bits. A year later I restarted The Seventh Scroll but I just couldn’t get into the second book. I had wanted more of Taita but what I was getting was the account of the Egyptologist Royan Al Simma and a daring man Sir Nicholas Quenton-Harper who joins her in the hunt for Pharaoh Mamose's tomb based on Taita's notes.

I am now revisiting the story and hopefully this time I can complete the series in the next three to six months.
